Part of what really makes me feel that though, is that the Tracklist DOESN'T include a Japanese version of Walkin' on Water, which that's been their m/o for a very long time, to put a translation of the most recent tt on their next album. We got it with Giant on dominATE.

The pastel looks are the most killer for me. So much layering, so much texture. There's cohesion without same-ness. We see different colors travel across the members so everyone fits. there's also a very specific feeling of luxury with the clothing pieces. They look expensive.

Now we're gonna talk about the group shots, bc I actually think these looks work best in the group.
when you now have everything together, you have the differences in wash, I think it makes everything a lot more interesting. You also have all these different cuts.

And I already posted Chan and Lino's looks last week, but here's they're two new ones. Also in the denim looks. Maybe tomorrow we'll get the pastel looks. Nothing really new to add to this, they look very handsome.

Lastly our maknae or suekko since this is a Japanese cb. the denim outfit is cool. I actually think it's something IN could just wear IRL. I am OBSESSED with the lace oxford shirt and tie. It's a classic basic bitch shape in a new and interesting fabric/texture and I love it!!!!!

So much of Seungmin is giving editorial here. He looks amazing. that being said, I feel like they could have had more fun with his sparkly look. You can see there's crystals on the jacket, but I feel like something with color in the hair vs the silver, blue to match his shirt maybe? idk.

Felix shall be next. I find it interesting yet unsurprising that everyone else is in like 3+ layers, & yet poor Felix is in a cropped sleeveless denim hoodie.

Han looks so gorgeous. The details on both of his jackets are subtle but interesting. JYP-Japan loves to style Han in cropped jackets, and I appreciate that.

Changbin's denim look has me screaming. THE TEXTURE!! The way they've woven the denim of the sleeves. It's so good. For the sparkler one, I love the colors, purple is my fave color. I love the gold flecks in his hair. All around just lovely.

Next let's talk the rest of the solo pics. I am so happy to be getting a cb with kiwi-Hyunjin. I really think just love the vibe, and I think it works as a wonderful contrast with the softer aesthetic of the concept pics.

And going back to previous Japan CBs, there's a really distinct correlation between concept pics & album/title track. So far all of them have had them in the outfits from the MVs, so we can expect that here too. I wonder if it's a two worlds thing again, since we've had the duplicates in every MV.

There's definitely some fantasy elements happening, in the coloration and the backgrounds. I'm very interested to hear how the music of the album will capture this concept. While it's not always 1:1, with the Japanese albums I do feel like there's often a more direct correlation.

For Hollow we're looking at about 10 weeks. Like I didn't comment right away bc I kinda thought we were gonna get a correction.
