I first got to Gridania a couple winters ago during Starlight, met these two pretty much straight-away. And even though the deer came with me after that, couldn't ride him until after I joined the Maelstrom and got trained on chocobos first...

Zeph's the really tall kid who sprawls lazily in the back row and initially people think she's a scary delinquent, until they're threatened by bullies; she comes up and beats them down and asks if the would-be victim is okay, and they realize she's 1: actually really nice, 2: kind of a doofus :D

good thing Tataru had that whole "develop your own island" thing. Spent a lot of time there just kinda thinking things over on my own. Even set up a little mountaintop campsite where the mammets would leave me alone.

Was supposed to be comin' back to the lodge to get a rare herb while it was bloomin' nearby. Wound up hugging Ardent awhile instead.

...Of course, the roof's so steep I can't figure out how to get to the front half of it. Hmm.
I think I was gonna change the roof anyway, when I still had a S plot... Time for some brainstormin'!

Of course being based on Zeph, whose patron is Oschon, the minion immediately took off and started going on adventures. When Zeph found out, she was VERY UNAMUSED... but also can't help but feel responsible for this. So the "mega-me" is keeping an eye on the "mini-me" by serving as retainer. :D
