I fully expect TikTok to see a major drop in users if the U.S. government buys it. If you spend years talking about how someone else could distort the algorithm to push an agenda, users may feel a little skeptical of your intentions when you make a grab for it. www.bbc.com/news/article...

It really is amazing that we spent more than a year begging Meta to simply allow political content to be seen on Threads, and yet they’re so hostile to their own audience that Bluesky is looking like it’s going to lap Threads.
