You need not get a tailor made vote like that. There have been several referenda and elections where politicians have made explicit promises linked to this and this is where the public stands. Even the last general election saw the winning party affirm it was committed to Brexit.

Yes. But it is difficult. Of all the things that you mention, what I have been part of is a school talking with parents...because there is a place. There isn't much interaction with "local kids" apart from car pooling with a select few. Neighbour interaction is so-so. Modern life.

Sure, I was on them myself. The spirit on the second one was already down compared to the first. The barrier is known but the voters need to overcome it. There is a host of examples around the world they can learn from, even in the recent past.
