This. On a hard floor. We continue to be homeless since my discharge 2 years ago this month. Landlord (new) did not renew lease after my bf had been there for 26 years...
So here we are.
Zippy eases my pain but she is getting anxiety from all the moving and changes. Different rules...it is hard

This is a better Bagheera eye pic. Indiana has a newly adopted puppy. All my cats will be 16 in May. He grew up with a momma dog. D'Nala was young, but understood the need. So I rescued 10 kittens in 24 hours.....and she totally helped.

Epilepsy, my back, insomnia, housing insecurity (still homeless)....and it goes on and on.
Most of my physical issues, are from those dozen years.
Most of my hypervigilance & anxiety is from him.
Even the incontinence was from that. Bc of the bone shards & caudia equina. (I couldn't walk or pee)

Walking sideways was one of the hardest things to relearn.
I know I never want staples again. The scar healed very nicely for what it looked like at first.
I had about 70-75 days in the brace.
And Zippy has not left my side.

It was emergency laminectomy with decompression and two metal bars, 8 screws, and 4 disc replacement cages. That was feb 8th.
Also 47 staples. It was a 16" incision.
I wasn't able to walk or pee.
The firefighters carried me down the stairs.
