I used to ride south UT (St George, Moab) but haven't been in many years. Bentonville is a sight to see, but the best trails in AR are not there. Hit me up if you come. I'm a decent tour guide.

Where are your home trails located? I'm in Fayetteville, AR with mostly tech heavy XC trails with a few Enduro style gravity trails. Walmart is installing a ski lift 20 miles up the road from us. They have a ton of smooth jump lines, but I prefer the rough stuff.

TRP is on my radar. Other than a short test ride at Outerbike, I've not spent much time on them. Something between the initial bite of Shimano and easy modulation of SRAM would be the sweet spot.

Life long Shimano guy here. Been on XX1 AXS for the last year. I love electronic shifting but still prefer Shimano shifters. Sorry, but I still miss XT/XTR brakes. Might swap out my Guide Ultimate for 4-pot XT soon.
