New little tidbit from the owntag blog: How you can revoke Meta CAPI access tokens, e. g. to stop data collection from some external tool that you don't want to send data anymore but can't turn it off at the source.

How to revoke (delete) a Meta Conversion API access token
It's easy to create a Meta Conversion API access token, but how do you revoke it?

Super quiet launch of this super exciting feature of @bunnydotnet.bsky.social which is basically a better alternative to CF Workers: bunny Edge Scripting bunny.net/edge-scripti...

Write your Typescript scripts and bunny will run them serverlessly between your users and your origin

Stay away from Fastbill, at least if you have a lot of customers. I have years of wolfenthal.com invoices and customer records in there, more than 15.000. This makes the UI unbearably slow because in most views, they actually have a select box in the filters section with 15k+

Awesome piece of Internet history:
Between 2009 and 2012, iPhones had a built-in "Send to YouTube" button in the Photos app. Many of these uploads kept their default IMG_XXXX filenames, creating a time capsule of raw, unedited moments from random lives.
Watch them at walzr.com/IMG_0001/

Turns out that their marketing is very misleading and they have a questionable definition of Postgres-compatible:

- No views/triggers/sequences
- No foreign key constraints
- No extensions
- No nested transactions
- No JSONB
As a generalist dev who’s recently looked into a lot of different databases this looks very interesting: Amazon just presented their new database product Aurora DSQL
* Infinite scalability
* Zero infrastructure management
* Multi-Region
* Strong consistency
* PostgreSQL-compatible

Never look at non-english Google documentation, it's probably super outdated.
For example they still haven't updated the german release notes of SGTM and it's been several months

It's end of 2024 and consent management + GTM is still not solved. There are so many solutions out there but I feel none of them are built by hands-on Google Tag Manager users.
My recommendation: use one that has a good / feature-complete JS SDK to easily push your own dataLayer events

Currently in the process of founding owntag GmbH, I saw @skyofsumit.bsky.social recommend Qonto and I have to say so far I am very happy with the choice. Creating bank accounts for two freshly founded companies (holding + owntag) was super smooth.

Hi 👋 I am the founder of SGTM hosting company www.owntag.eu and work on Web Analytics & Marketing Tech with Google Tag Manager and lots of JavaScript all day every day.
I'll mostly keep it focussed on those topics, maybe with the occasional meme in between :)
