Verification via domain credibly proves that you are in control of the Domain in question. If you are operating a business, your customers will be able to see that you are who you say you are based on the matching domain name, blue check mark or not.

Bluesky has in the past said they do not use user data to train AI. Bluesky does USE non-generative AI (that do not create new content, unlike chatgpt, art AI) for content moderation, marking 18+ images, etc. Nearly every public social network uses this, from YouTube to reddit, etc. It's needed.

Bluesky is an open protocol. Anyone has access to the full firehose (read: data stream) of bluesky events, from posts to likes to whatever else you can imagine. The purpose of this proposal is so you can tell third party firehose consumers what your preferences with your data are.

@uspol.bluesky.bot - Want to keep US politics out of your feed? No more doom scrolling, especially for us not in the US.
@pronouns.adorable.mom - This one lets you set your pronouns for everyone subscribed to the labeler to see.

I hope these are useful! Repost if you want to! 7/7

@arttheft.bsky.social - This should be your labeler of choice for specifically stolen/traced art.
@aimod.social - This one will keep AI art/imagery away. I do not suggest hiding people that have AI profile pictures however, but the post options are okay! 6/7

@skywatch.blue - skywatch blue is an automated labeler that will keep general undesirable behavior like slurs and offensive symbolism away. Requires configuration after subscribing. Pick and choose which things you want to "hide", meaning they won't show up in your app. 5/7

There's a variety of labelers to choose and mix and match from, I'll share some of my favorites:
@asukafield.xyz - Labeler against transphobia.
bsky.app/profile/did:... - subscribe to this to automatically block accounts detected by asukafield. 4/7

Labelers let us do one really important thing: We don't have to block unwanted behavior ourselves. When a single one of us makes a report to one of these, the choice made by the Moderator will automatically affect all of us. One strike and you're out. 3/7

Labelers are community operated services that go from labelling transphobic behavior and blocking them for you automatically, to showing others what your preferred pronouns are or even your favorite D&D class. They work in the background. You can make reports to them as well. 2/7

bsky.app/profile/asuk... - Labeler against transphobia. Joining this allows you to make reports via the in-app report function.
bsky.app/profile/did:... - subscribe to this to automatically block accounts detected by asukafield. This stops them from interacting with you (no following). 2/3

Hey Andi, I reported this account to some moderation services for you. There are some services I suggest you subscribe to, so we can keep this community clean together and don't have to individually block these for ourselves. 1/3

I think at this point, the packages installable from apt could be used as a time capsule for tech-archeologists!
