Growing up in my church people "Prayed for me" because I "went to the city school".
We had about 2,000 kids in my HS, and a decent number were black kids.
Our "city" was maybe 50,000 people.

I do part time work for the newspaper in that area covering HS sports and, let me tell you, Whitestown/Zionsville is INCREDIBLY PROGRESSIVE compared to much of the rest of the state, making this even worse.

But that would help a lot of people and not make a small number of already rich people even more wealthy.

The funniest part would be him showing up this Saturday to coach against Arkansas like nothing happened

Should Thomas serve through the end of this term he would be the longest servind justice in Supreme Court history.
There is absolutely zero way that Thomas and Alito don't retire before then so they can hang on to those seats, even if it means retiring in December 2028 after an election loss.

Yeah, it was nuts. Just an example of how a coaching change and portal before a bowl game can be a disaster when you still have to show up and play.

I knew that bowl game was going to be a disaster from the beginning. Brohm had run off to Louisville. We had a skeleton coaching staff that included Drew Brees, who had never coached a game at any level above his own kids. Almost every player of note was in the portal or opted out. Total bloodbath.

I think the most depressing thing is that I am 46, and basically I will live the rest of my life merely hoping things get better for my kid after I am gone.
The right now is probably the best I can hope for climate-wise for the rest of my life.

I guess it is good to know that:
1. Four years of Biden assisted in this, and
2. The rest of the world see that the U.S. is batshit nuts right now and is working on the larger problem without us.
