Be good to yourselves, boys. Don't get pulled back into thinking you have to cover all of Alex's dipshittery in real time. You were right to give the timeline some space for a while there. Or if you do decide to cover stuff as it happens, don't take on huge blocks of it at once. Short eps are great.
