You are spot on. ER departments routinely have ridiculously long wait times. It now can take 2-4 months to see a specialist. 5 years after the pandemic started, hospitals are still chronically understaffed and agency nurses (temps) are used to fill in the blanks. And yeah, we have to PAY for it!
