True. I had a the benefit of a reputation, so that helped. I trained in my uncle’s Karate dojo growing up. I could back up my talk if needed, since fourth like grade. I never started a fight but I’ve finished plenty. I also talked to them about the bullying because they were likely bullied as well.

He’s exactly the kind of bully I would have called out in school. Slinking away like the majority of bullies once you call them out.

Courts have been clear: the First Amendment protects criticism of military operations, criticism of the president, anti-war speech, whistleblowing, and protests, even the loud, uncomfortable ones. You cannot jail people for political disagreement, no matter how much a president might wish otherwise.
