It's a Wonderful Life' features one of the most authentic and frank portrayals of depression you'll see in film-- not just sadness and despair, but also extreme irritability and regret. Jimmy Stewart nails it. It's an unappreciated reason the film is a classic.

My current read (for at least the second time, maybe third)-- "Why Buddhism is True" by @robertwrighter.bsky.social. Very clear explanation of Buddhist Dharma along with the cognitive science view of why it's "true".
