Oh hai. So...I'm officially a coach leading the women's self defense and BJJ programmes at Nairobi Jiu Jitsu Academy 🫡 and got featured in the local business paper for self defense tings.

It's finally starting. After spending 2024 travelling Europe visiting Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gyms I returned to Kenya with a view to support and create a women's self defense and BJJ community.

The inaugural women's self defense workshops sold out and happy doesn't even cover how I feel 🔥🔥

I'm no longer galavanting across Europe, visiting gyms and just vibing with the culture. I'm now completely isolated from a plethora of high level gyms and getting after it in Kenya with the few gyms here. So the BJJ journal is coming back.
