I will follow Ali Hazelwood to the ends of the earth. I loved this one, especially since it included some of my favorite parts of were lore. Highly recommended 💙📚

I like magical realism and romance, and this one was...fine. A bit too much internal conflict for the FMC and the MMC seemed a bit too perfect? I enjoyed it enough that I plan to continue with the series, though. #booksky 📚💙

I loved this one. As a reader and trivia aficionado, this was right up my alley. Highly recommended.

I'm embarking on a chronological rewatch of The Conjuring movies in preparation for Last Rites next month.

Fireworks going all around us, and here's El Doggo, snoozing away. Aren't dogs supposed to be scared of fireworks?

I will watch Jack Quaid in anything, and this movie is just fun. More dark comedy than straight horror, but I really enjoyed it. If you haven't seen it, go in as blind as possible -- it makes it more enjoyable.

I will watch Carrie Preston in anything. She was delightfully creepy and unhinged in this, but the other characters seemed rather one-note. The ending felt rushed and ruined a lot of the buildup.

I liked this one, but I don't know if I would classify it as horror? It was more of a drama with a side dish of murders. I appreciate the representation and the discouragement of gay.conversion camps, but it's not a horror movie.

Tightly paced, entertaining slasher with a surprising unmasking and excellent chase scenes (and I would expect no less from Kevin Williamson). Set during the early days of COVID, which drives the plot without feeling gimmicky. Four out of five ghosts

Cozy small-town setting, a fun cast of characters with interesting quirks, and enough spice to keep me engaged. I've already started the second one in the series! 💙📚

I watched Heart Eyes last night, because I love Mason Gooding and also I will watch anything Christopher Landon writes and/or directs. This was more romantic comedy horror than just comedy horror, but still a lot of fun. Four out of five ghosts

Heartbreaking, but I enjoyed it much more than The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. It may be because I prefer Haymitch's POV to Snow's (which is admittedly not a high bar to clear) 💙📚

Super-cozy fantasy, which is just what I was looking for this time of year. 💙📚
