I do love the idea of a new left party, since labour is no longer what it once was. But, to echo the concerns of many here, I question the wisdom of starting a whole new party when the Greens already have the infrastructure. Still, I don't doubt you'll be smart and avoid taking votes away from them.

All of those things are popular with the American public. Republicans are frustrated that they have to keep policies that the public wants. It would behoove someone in your position to remind them that that's their *job* rather than commentate on the political game-playing that they engage in.
