I lost my favorite person yesterday. There is a very special bond between a grandmother and her favorite grandson that few people get to experience. I am so very happy I got to experience it with her. I got to see her last Wednesday, and will always remember her last words to me, “I love you too.”

I really don’t understand the communication barrier that exists between people in IT and everyone else. Common sense requests turn into 6 emails and a 30 minute phone call to get one simple item resolved. Truly baffling.

I went out tonight. Saw someone who I have had a connection to before. When he started trying to describe how a person who wants to transition “might have a 15% regret” it was absolutely over. I didn’t even say goodbye. I got up, walked to the next bar got a shot and walked home. Number blocked.
