Learned about the mass shooting at Brown University at about 4:30pm, just as Meagan was heading into the ER at Rhode Island Hospital for a 5pm shift. Angry at baseline, especially that 10 kids got shot 2 miles away. Hope the gunman suffers the worst possible outcome.

Saw Iliza Shlesinger from the front row tonight in Boston and somehow became 10 minutes of the show: me (a fellow Amazonian/Alexa guy) + "Dr. Meagan," who got so many shout-outs from Iliza during the show that people recognized her at the nearby bar after. Surreal, hilarious, peak crowd-work energy.

My son wanted to watch the Smurfs movie, so I used the Siri search on Apple TV. The film art for the 2011 version with Neil Patrick Harris caught his eye instead of the new one, & holy heck these CGI smurfs are nightmare fuel after seeing the modern ones. 😳

TRON: Ares was a lot of fun to watch, especially on IMAX with a proper sound system. Best moment of the film was the Light Skimmer scene escaping the Grid, set to the instrumental of NIN's "I Know You Can Feel It." Legitimately chill-inducing cinematic moment with that musical build + visuals.

Used the ChatGPT-5 Agent Mode to find in-hotel childcare options that also accommodated a dog in the same room. Took about 9 minutes processing the task, but came back with incredibly detailed (and accurate) recommendations. Color me impressed.
