Fun story-I’ve been playing DnD for around 40 years. I’ve always pronounced wight as “why-it.” No idea why. Certainly don’t pronounce knight, “nigh-it.”Found out during a recent game I was DMing that is definitely not how it’s pronounced. Pivoting to pronounce it as “wicht.”
