I thought I had shared this before, but it seems I didn’t, so I will share now. I made this is procreate a number of months ago. I picked an oak leaf, because I had read that they symbolize community. It seems with a little bit of looking up today that it symbolizes a lot of other fitting themes.

June was another light book month. I would have probably got a bit more in if I was doing audiobooks, but listening has been rough this last month. I’m still way ahead of my goals though!
And the book that isn’t shown here is Science Comics: Sharks, which I read with the kiddo.

Making fajitas tonight and went “oh! Be right back!” And went and harvested more kale and cilantro from the garden. I love this time of year.

I only finished 3 books last month. I had one I had started, got 20% in and decided I could not force myself to read anymore. I also almost finished Human Body Theatre with the Little, and I’m almost done with Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green, just… not quite there yet. lol

I’m a bit late sharing my March reads. They got rid of the setup I was using, it seems.
I didn’t feel like I read a lot last month, oddly. I really enjoyed Heartstopper and the Bergman Sibling books! Also, I had been trying to finish The Girl Who Drank The Moon for years!

I’m a bit late sharing my March reads. They got rid of the setup I was using, it seems.
I didn’t feel like I read a lot last month, oddly. I really enjoyed Heartstopper and the Bergman Sibling books! Also, I had been trying to finish The Girl Who Drank The Moon for years!

I have been wanting to play on Procreate again, but it has been a couple months and I was having issues with Art With Flo’s monthly challenge, so decided to give a tutorial of their’s a go. Such a cute kitty! #artwithflo on YouTube.

Officially have plants in the garden! Hoping to get more in this week. I also direct seeded carrots, beets and radishes (most in other beds lol) I'm so ready to snack out of the garden...

This is the largest miniature I’ve done. I’m slightly worried about this stage…. lol lots of washi to help it secure… haha now where to stash it so it’ll dry fully and kiddo doesn’t turn it into his train house. lol

Been working on my miniature house this week, and just got this chandelier mostly together. Still have to attach the light :) it’s so cute though. Next is starting to put the whole house together!

Let garden season begin! Also cleaned out my "grow room" enough to start, grabbed a bag of soil... just gotta clean my pots and all cause theyve been sitting out all winter. Oops.. lol

Not my picture, but they’re purple w/ orange cores! They were the only “wait what‽” I saw on a video last night talking about “vegetables nobody knows about anymore that your grandparents grew” the video was a lot of fun “uhm but I grow that? Why you acting like everyone grows flavorless hybrids?”

I haven’t been sharing much here. To be fair, I’ve mostly just been reading in what spare time I get… (12 books down already this year!) I did finish up a few digital stickers I have been slowly working on for my planner though. :)
