It’s a fair question though, are Muslims or immigrants disproportionately involved in crime, convicted of serious criminal offences against women? If so, on a balance, would we rather not have this kind of immigration?

I don’t see many immigrant men (Middle Eastern/Turkish etc) working in care homes, as builders do you? Let’s be real. There is a small proportion that are skilled but when I am walking late at night in say Birmingham city centre as a woman, I don’t feel safe. It is the wrong kind of immigration.

I agree the UK does need a level of immigration, but the right kind of immigration. I can easily show you densely populated areas with immigrants who do not work, and exploit the benefits system.

There is a lot of evidence to suggest people come from Pakistan/India/Somalia for example as students and overstay their visa, come of spouse visas with no intention to work, bring a number of dependents on work visas who never work. All who use public services.

The clue is in your message chaps.. you had gainful employment. The immigrants I am talking about are living on the benefits system, which is taxpayers money. You wouldn’t deny the taxpayers having an opinion and the government acting on that mandate would you?
