Depends on the type of notebook you want. Traveler Company's journal is great for modularity. Then you have brands like Midori (my fav), Leuchtturm, Clairefontaine, Rhodia, Life...

Debating on whether or not to get it myself. I've been wanting to participate for quite some time, but I also have a ton of ink, will participate in the Santa gift exchange anyway, and I've had waaay too many expenses this year.

Coincidentally, I have just inked this one. I love it even though I'm not a fan of greys. It doesn't show the red subtone as much in my swatches (Midori paper), but the writing is very similar.

One good thing going for them, probably the only one, is that many of their inks have beautiful chromatography if you'd happen to be into that part of the arts. Although even then there are many other inks with amazing chroma
