I was cleaning out the cord drawer (we all have one, right?) and Este assumed I had done it for her to sit in. Which OBVIOUSLY is the real reason I emptied it and not that it needs to be done before we move. It’s her world and we all just live in it. #cats #rescuekitty

When each girl get her first period we “celebrate” w/a red velvet cake, dinner, & chocolates (or another treat). It’s become something they look forward to- helping to usher in the next sister. Hence this cake made by siblings.

Anyone else have cheese zombies for #schoollunches growing up? It’s become a family favorite! Not exact like I had growing up as we add garlic butter on top and Swiss (sometimes pepper jack or Gouda) inside. Behold, dinner!

I missed #caturday but, whatever. This is Scout. She isn’t ours but she loves to hang out at our house so we feed and love on her. This paper bag had been on the ground less than a minute when she made her way inside for a nap, isn’t she cute?!

We’re getting our house ready to sell which means I painted my bedroom so as not to scare off buyers with a black room and now I’m sad. I LOVED my black walls! It looks *fine* now. Very demure, very mindful. I just miss my room.

I did a thing today. It was so good to connect with other people and see how many of us blue dots are standing strong in a part of Oregon that’s fairly purple (my particular town is heavily red). We got WAY more honks & thumbs up than boos and middle fingers up too.
