I work for a fintech and think this all of the time. In the past, I’ve surprised people by calling and paying a utility bill but you can’t do that anymore unless you are the owner of that account.

I called vital statistics and I’m silly. She said the name is the name at birth of child, or my case, adoption. Doesn’t matter if I change my name. She gave example of Elizabeth Taylor 7 marriages and they’d not change the mothers name on bc for each new marriage. That made sense.

My son is adopted. He has a legal bc that lists me as his mother. But his first bc listed his birth mother as mother with a different name. Now he has a 3rd bc because we chose to change our last name. I’m single never married so I have no maiden name but I have a new bc with my new name on it.

Truth. My 65yo brother, in and out of prison his entire life, all non violent crimes. He is now quoting crap about Jesus and all that. And I’m sitting here like “do they really get a free get out of jail card after spending a life of horror, just because they now claim to have “found Jesus””

I’ve looked into it and found the only negative is their stance on abortion. My 13yo has vetoed moving but I’m still considering it after he turns 18.

He’s bringing up Springfield OH again you know, the city in which the effing maga governor invited these folks and got them special visas to come there and help the economy, which they’ve done success. If they were White Russians, maga Steve would not have cared.

It started with Regan and trickle down economics. My gosh I was a teen then and knew that stuff was messed up. Then when Bush came in with “no child left behind” I knew we were screwed. I should have left then.

I’m no national defense strategist but my entire take away from this event is that they did this to throw shade on Biden and give a win to Trump for solving an unknown issue? It impacted only 2% of our trade, surely we could have found other means to resolve, likely why Biden took no risk.

No dude. It’s NOT an “earned benefit.” It’s literally your fugging savings account with the treasury department. I’ve been putting 15% of my earnings in that for 40 years!! Would you let some arsehole politicians walk into your brick and mortar bank and withdrawal all of your money? Hell no.

I do think there are some FAKE democrats. Look at the jerk from PA after the democrats stood by him through all of the election craziness and his stroke. And now he is almost full maga. I do not believe it should be legal for an elected office to change parties mid terms.

They have been doing that in the senate for confirmations. The house has been trying to introduce resolutions. We have been stymied.
