Using social media to try to find ways to heal from long COVID. And learning things in general.
That is surprising and is probably gonna change quickly. 😂

So, how did the games go…..😂

Yesterday was very busy. We have a newish puppy, so she takes a lot of my time. And I am not anywhere near a basketball expert. I need others to talk about the games so I can learn and be better prepared for next year!! 😂

Picture of the pup in question.

If we just get through it at all, I will call it a win at this point…

The press has not been doing a great job. They need to be on top of him like ticks on a dog….

I eat oatmeal every morning. The only thing that changes is what fruit goes into it. I am a late convert. Never ate it until about 5 years ago. 😂

Someone I know went to a clinic and said all the front desk people and providers were wearing masks. Which is great! But it also says how bad it must be out there since this has not been the norm. And masks in clinics should be the norm….

The unmaking of June Farrow was great.

The Indigo Girl I loved and learned a lot.

Gallowglass was really good and kept surprising me.

Diet is definitely one of the big things we control. Helps some and doesn’t help others.
So very glad you were able to protect yourself! The only good thing about my experience is it did make my family take it more seriously and my mom was able to avoid it for a long time. So thankful for that. 😀

Been on a special kind of zinc. Unfortunately there is not an easy fix. And yes, have to be careful. Selenium actually hurt me. Most people with Long Covid have tried hundreds of things. So it is a matter of trying things that do not have a big downside. Trying to get better is exhausting. 🫤

As someone with Long Covid from a march 2020 covid infection, get some N95 masks. They don’t take up much room. And if I had known how to protect myself in 2020, my life would be easier today.

I am overdue to change mine. I think I saw they did testing and even though it looks obviously dirty doesn’t mean it still is not filtering out covid. But life….so I will hopefully now be able to get new filters and remake the corsi box. And yes, seeing how dirty it gets makes me glad I have it!!

I just finished Tom Lake and loved it.

The Unmaking of June Farrow was great

Piranesi was so different and beautifully written

Just finished the Wool/silo series and enjoyed all three. They kept surprising me.

The Indigo Girl was fun and I learned some things I had no idea about.

I understand. Our Lab was on a lot of expensive meds. My philosophy was no invasive tests if the treatment wouldn’t change, but any pill that would help quality and quantity of her life.

You are doing for your 4 legged family member what all pets deserve. They are lucky to have you. (Hugs)

When I found out about a heart issue years ago, the doctors were all like “Do *not* catch the flu. People are more likely to have a heart attack after the flu!”
And now when COVID is proven to really worsen pre existing conditions, crickets….🤨. Did doctors just forget what they knew pre COVID?

I had to say good bye to our Lab this spring. It is so hard. This is the first I have been without a pet for decades. Not sure if/when I could handle another four legged family member. I would want to make sure I could do everything they deserve

My heart goes out to you during this time.

Let us know if it helps. I tried experimenting with cutting back on some things and it did not go well….😬
