DC resident here…I am incandescent with rage. I’ve made fifty phone calls over the past two days telling them to stand up for my City and our Country. I don’t have reps, but I will use my money and my time to primary the ever living shit out of these feckless cowards.

I remember the Spring and Summer of 05 very well! Istanbul and Gerrard saga. I would have been mad because I would want to see Gerrard in Chel$ki blue. But another league like Spain seems different to me. Appreciate your comments! Is la Liga viewed as different because they still play in UCL?

So is it a Real Madrid thing specifically too? I personally hate them. Would it be as big of a deal if it was to Barca or an Italian team?

Ripken and Jeter are the only two names that come to mind. Joe Montana played for the chiefs, Harper went to the Phillies, Soto is going everywhere, Saquan to the Eagles. Again, I want Trent to stay but if he’s moving to a different league why so much hate. I’ll be disappointed for sure - no hate.
