It's not the most photogenic but I made cozy curry noodles with pumpkin and venison. Featuring my eager sous chef waiting for a bite (he didn't get one because it was spicy, but he gets other bites!!) #food

I also made milk tea today for the first time. Fresh taro, brown sugar boba, a touch of vanilla, and some raspberry jam for some acidity and fruitiness. It was really good!
Glass of taro milk tea with tapioca pearls and a big straw. I didn't have a y tall glasses so it looks silly, oops!

I went museuming, james ensor exhibition. a big art fave of mine..

This part had us enter through an entrance enveloped by a big demon mouth. It leads to a red room with a wall that's decorated with various carnival masks. Carnival was a big inspiration for Ensor.

Soul searching #art

I dont tend to share original art. It feels scary. But maybe I'll do it more on bluesky...
fairly abstract art I made. A single big eye, with a sleeping figure floating in it as if it's water. tears (?) falling from the eye. golden moon in the pupil, raining down golden drops. a face above the eye, staring down, searching. its hands clasp at the pupil.
