I've been trying to get through it and I'm so disinterested in the Prestige TV Vibes that it's putting out. They had the (admittedly syanthetic) lead 1v1 the xenomorph for some reason. The childlike dialogue from the synthetics also I find wears thin quickly

I'm not a game dev but that area seems uniquely prone to the issue because there are so many more interactions happening so much more frequently. Combine that with crunch time and the tendency to drop testing quality first and it can get real hard to be sure changes won't break other areas

Unsure on the discord update batches. The latter is a characteristic of pretty much any sufficiently large codebase. Things that aren't directly connected somehow end up having indirect effects on one another. Maybe something only ever worked in the first place because something else behaved wrong

Honestly the space between "baby's first attempt" and advanced topics is usually pretty barren for resources, at least in the skills I've tried looking for them. There's definitely room for more full process explainers if you want to share yours
