For $38 you can make two bathrooms in your home look utilitarian and institutional. The upside is that it will take your kitty much longer to unroll the tp.

Surprisingly, tediously sewing a lengthy rolled hem on rayon without a rolled hem foot is stress inducing. An hour later, I’ve 182 cm done, with 120 cm to go. The end is nigh.

I was in our front yard wearing a tshirt & jeans-hoeing fence line weeds. A neighbor walked by in a parka, watch cap &gloves. Him: “Good Lord! Aren’t you freezing?” Me: It’s 55°! It’s positively balmy! Neighbor: shakes head, keeps walking.

My Mums ruby red glass serving bowl has spent 75 years of its life briefly appearing only on rare occasions.

Picture this: You’re driving through the desert and see sagebrush, cactus and a 10 x 10 shade tent signed:
STEAKS & SEAFOOD 1/2 PRICE.
There’s a camping cooler on a folding table under the shade tent and a guy sitting in a lawn chair.
Nothing else around him.
We did not stop.

It’s okay to be on the outside looking in. It makes it so much easier to walk away from where you weren’t welcome in the first place.

Thanksgiving Tip:
Never eat food offered by a toddler. It might look like a cookie, but it's actually the flu.

There was just enough of the Polish Potatoe Vodka left to make a tall cocktail with cranberry juice and cranberry ginger ale. I believe this qualifies as my serving of fruits and vegetables for the evening.

I feel so very old when I have to Bing a business because I watched their commercial do not understand wtf they are selling or the phrases/trendy word/branding they are using. Obviously, I am not within their age or economic demographic.
However, I just learned what a resy restaurant is.

People are losing their minds over “Auntie” culture. In many social groups & extended family gatherings, Auntie is a term of respect, often used for nonfamilial female elder. I am a proud Auntie of some wonderful biologically unrelated humans and when I hear them refer to me as Auntie, I hear love.
