Soreness is primarily a buildup of lactic acid. So anything that will increase circulation or lymphatic drainage will help your body process that lactic acid. So movement will also help. Movement will be better than static resting. Walking even.

Sleep. Daily stretching before and after training, in the morning, before bed. Diet: quality diet but some foods are naturally anti-inflammatory. Beyond that cold water (shower or ice bath) and if you feel like spending, recovery boots help for legs at least.
