Too many New Mexicans grew up with sex ed that left them with more questions than answers - about relationships and health. We need to ensure students receive comprehensive, medically accurate, and inclusive education, not abstinence-only curriculums that fail them. It’s time to do better!

A coalition of advocates are preparing to push for a bill in the upcoming legislative session to make comprehensive sexual education available to every student in New Mexico, as a way of preventing teen pregnancies, sexually transmitted disease, sexual violence, bullying and sexual harassment.
