I was looking at a different stat line.
I still, however, maintain that the free throw merchant narrative is false. 8.4 free throws per game is not outrageous, especially since the Thunder as a team took fewer free throws in the season than most of the other teams.

And? Shai also averages more touches per game than Jokic, so it makes sense he'd take more free throws. If he and Jokic played the same position, they'd likely have the same free throws per game. This "the refs give Shai the game" narrative isn't backed up by the numbers.

FYI, Jokic and Shai have taken the same amount of free throws so far in this series. In the regular season, Shai only averaged 2.4 more free throws per game than Jokic.
