In the beginning there was a wide criticism of the law, but you hardly ever hear anyone mentioning it anymore.
With how MAGA is abusing every tool at their disposal to spread vile hatred, I think such a law is a necessity for the survival of democracy.

That's an incredibly uninformed thing to say. Racism is universal. Just because you experience it from your unique perspective, doesn't mean it doesn't exist in other forms.

People acting racist is a fact. The US is ripe with them - "racists" of all colours.
I live in a country where it isn't that tribalistic (but not perfect though), and I'd love for all of us to be able to live like that.
