Being a Solopreneur is extremely hard, but it's not as hard as feeling undervalued for 2,000+ hours per year.

Most advice is well intended but requires tremendous context.

Don't follow someone else's advice blindly, only to figure out their luck and timing isn't on your side.

My wife and I have spent the last 4 days in Europe, and it's such a treat to be able to wake up long before Americans do.

I can drink coffee, workout, have lunch and get most of my work done before my family and friends are even awake.

10/10. Highly recommend.

In a world obsessed with more:

More work
More hustle
More noise

True wealth is having less:

Less stress
Less urgency
Less attachment

Your better life starts with subtraction, not addition.

Things I commonly hear from rich friends:

- I wish I could work less
- I wish I had more freedom
- I wish I could be honest about stress

This is why "rich" is so subjective.

Build a rich life, not just a rich business.

Everyone's bookmarking the perfect morning routine or productivity system.

Meanwhile, the most successful people I know just wake up and spend 3-4 hours working on the obvious stuff that makes their business better.

Everything else is just overcomplication.

Old school work:

Look busy for 8 hours, solve my problem, and I'll pay you $20 an hour.

Modern work:

Solve my problem in 30 minutes and I'll pay you $2,500.

A study of 2.7 million startups:

The average age of people who started the fastest-growing tech companies is 45.

Everyone's in a rush, but maybe we shouldn't be.

Promote yourself every single day:

- Your work
- Your brand
- Your opinions
- How you think

People will either:

- Love you (customers)
- Hate you (who cares)
- Join you (network)
- Follow you (students)
- Ignore you (already are)

I've never regretted:

- Ending a meeting early
- Saying no to a "quick call"
- Taking Friday afternoons off
- Blocking my calendar for lunch
- Making time for a mid-day workout

Protect your time like it's your most valuable asset because it is.

In your 20s, experiment.
In your 30s, build.
In your 40s, own.

Most people spend their whole lives planning and never hit any of these stages.

Entrepreneurs with 10-person teams doing $50K MRR with 40% margins love to talk about how solopreneurs can't scale past $2.5M.

At 90% margins, why the hell would you need to?

Please don't quit your job and go "all in".

Find an hour each day to grow a side project.

Replace 60% of your current income while trending in the right direction.

Then make your move. Almost always a better decision.

The 30-30-30 method:

1. 30 minutes per week talking to your customers about their problems.

2. 30 minutes per day figuring out how to solve them.

3. 30 minutes per day creating content about it.

The simplest way to build a better audience and business.

Success:

1. Build something small you enjoy
2. Invest in quality but live modestly
3. Keep the majority of your time free
4. Spend that time on health and family
5. Ignore society's definition of "making it"

Do these five things well, and you'll live a better life than 99%.

The happiest people I know aren't chasing big houses or fancy cars.

They're building tiny businesses that let them work 3-4 hours a day and spend the rest of their time actually living life.

What a refreshing, modern business opportunity.
