When stocks drop, everyone buys bonds, raising bond prices and lowering interest. If yields rise, people aren't buying, fearing a U.S. default. Rising yields during a crash are really fucking scary.

Trump doesn’t work for Putin, nor does Putin have Kompromat on Trump. Trump is all about himself. It's a business deal for him. If he lets Putin mess with Ukraine, he thinks Putin will invest in something like Truth Social or his crypto ventures. Trump's main goal is to make himself richer.
