It wouldn’t hurt, but they’re on the bottom (or mixed in) so I don’t think they’d be crispy long. Give it a go, though, and let me know!

To be honest, I don’t even notice it! You mix it up and it eats like a hash brown casserole

They are shredded potatoes — hash browns! They just get mixed in with everything else and they cook when you nuke it in the morning!
