We’re often asked whether we’re optimistic or pessimistic about technologies. That’s the wrong question. If any of this matters, we need to stop seeing technology like the weather, to be merely forecasted, and instead see it like politics, to be collectively shaped.

I noticed that too - it seemed like the taxonomy was all but ready to go.

My guess is either the government didn't like the limits placed on natural gas, thought it wasn't aimed enough at economic growth / unlocking capital, or was too close to the feds to have province buy-in

I think we'll see this first in Ontario with Bill 5.

We have environmental / health protections for a reason, and it seems like we're forgetting why.

Done poorly, this looks like a short spurt of expansion followed by a health/environment crisis, loss of public support, and contraction.

For Lion, could QC step in as a buyer? Protect the home-grown IP until it gets back on its feet vs pulling the rug?
