As I type this, Cassandra is looking over my shoulder and Abby is snuggled up next to me.

Abby kept her original name, but she definitely earned her middle name. (Her vet records list a middle initial of "N".) Abby's way of showing affection is a running/jumping headbutt, making her the head bonker in the household.

Cassandra's original name (given by the shelter) was April. She is one of the most vocal (and least believable) cats I have ever met, so she got a more appropriate name. Cassandra is always willing to sing the songs of her people, especially if her audience is captive (on the toilet).

“Normal” is my cat’s middle name.

Her first name is Abby (in case you couldn’t guess).
