I’m mostly here to talk scary books, funny improv, and the Green Bay Packers.
Part of the problem here is the CBA. Players want less time on the field, which makes sense because most players aren’t backup QBs. But not being able to do much during the offseason, dramatically fewer training camp practices, and a shorter preseason are all factors that inhibit QB development.

I don’t think it’s good or helpful to think about QBs in terms of lists. Several of the guys we’d call top 5 coming into this year have not been playing at that level. My eyes have been telling me that Jordan Love is playing good football for the Packers this season. I like how he pushes the ball.

He has 4 interceptions this season. All of them have been ugly. But he has dramatically cut down on his questionable throws.

I read this book two years ago, and I think it’s one of the most imaginative and creative things I’ve ever read. I’m so happy it’s going back out into the world!

The Texans, Chargers, and Broncos might all be in the playoffs. This is not an easy schedule.

He coached the Packers game like he had nothing to lose, then he lost to the Lions on one of these calls, and now he’s not trying to be that guy anymore.

Haha yeah, I would put this in the category of no big deal. Just Aaron Rodgers being a little passive aggressive after Watson did something to annoy him. He’s trying to joke, he’s just doing it while he’s mad. I don’t miss these kinds of postgame shots at teammates.

Rodgers said that Christian Watson was one of the smartest WRs he ever played with. He liked him a lot!

Browns would much rather have stayed patient with Baker Mayfield than given up all those picks and cash because they thought Watson would make them better.
