I could not possibly love Superintendent Mo Green’s response to DOE threatening states on “illegal DEI practices” any more.

Had a great time presenting to our 8th graders during today's SAIL Career Fair about life as a Peace Corps Volunteer and my first teaching job in Përmet, Albania in the 90s!!

It was wonderful to be in a room full of people who love public schools and want to see them be the best they can be as well as a leader of integrity who genuinely wants to listen and support us.

Mo spent an hour and a half listening to educators, parents and students celebrating the good of our public schools, naming struggles that we are currently facing, and offering solutions and big ideas for taking our system to the next level.

He wants educators, parents and all education stakeholders to be a part of making that vision a reality, using our input to assist in crafting a strategic plan together with the State Board of Education (State Board Chair Eric Davis was in attendance).
