I stopped using X for my own health, but so far communities still seem to thrive better there and people make friends more.

But I only think that's because we still don't have enough users here. More people need to come here so we can have, like, actual memes and big discussions here.

I would say the lack of an algorithm is what keeps people away. But Bluesky sells itself on not heavily pushing algorithms.

It is truly terrible. I get that it's a "character" song like but it does NOT come across at all. It's too catchy and jaunty for the subject matter and just feels absolutely gross, even for the time.

As bad as it is, still not in the top 5 of John's worst songwriting decisions lol
