I’ve been enjoying Prime 4 a ton the last few days despite some shortcomings. I actually have everything collected and done at this point aside from beating the final boss. Looking forward to finishing the game tomorrow.

The first game I saw that used that was the original Super Nintendo version of Super Mario RPG. Always thought it was cool and was surprised it took so long for someone else to do it and make it popular.

I did end up finishing Digital Devil Saga 2 today. I didn’t end up grabbing every skill I wanted to bring into the final bosses (it takes forever to learn new skills), but that worked out and kept the two fights interesting.

Ending was whatever but I got a story out of struggling so that’s cool.

I made some mistakes when picking which skills to learn along the way (which is easy to do since the hexagonal level up chart is obscured in game), so I’ve hit a wall twice now where I just need to get more tools. Currently stuck on the super tough second to last boss. Hope to beat him tomorrow.

Tonight I beat Pokemon Legends Z/A with the full Pokedex completed. Had a lot of fun overall, especially when it tapped into Yakuza. New real time battle system is cool, but I think they need to play around with it a tad. Too often I was just stomping stuff. I missed Arceus’ world and trainer stuff.

Pretty excited to move on to a new game or two tonight. I think I’m going to start with the new Katamari game.

I have two questions about the baptism.

1: Why there as the water is notoriously unhealthy from runoff?

2: Why didn’t they wait while the guy was rescuing the dog basically right in front of them?

I mean I guess answer 1 potentially informs answer 2, but still lol.

I started Ghost of Yotei briefly yesterday and I’m about seven hours in now. It’s absolutely fantastic so far! I love how after the brutal prologue you get dropped into the world and choose entirely yourself how you want to explore it. The story and tone is much better so far compared to Tsushima.
