Also been on Deep Rock Survivors the past few days and they do the “mini objective spawns on the map” thing really well too if you haven’t tried it yet - terrain/mining stuff adds a whole mechanical dimension while retaining the perspective think it’s genius

Fair enough - and the 3Dness enhances the psychedelic trance of the genre which I can appreciate. I think it speaks a lot to the genius of the VS formula that just changing the perspective can equal a relatively fresh experience and for the price of a coffee I guess I’m taking the plunge - bless!

Does the game add anything to the VS formula outside of being in the third dimension? I’m sure it’s semi-impactful in giving you more movement to consider but so much of this looks just like VS that I’m not sure why I’d play it over the pristine diamond that is og vampire survivors
