It smacks of academic gatekeeping. I'm just about to start my masters, 27 yrs after my OT degree. I'm determined to write in my own voice!

When I did my undergrad, a million yrs ago, we were taught to never use 'I' sentences in any of our work. Great for medical notes but absolutely rubbish for writing meaningful essays., that don't look like they've been written by a robot. Has taken me years to undo!

There is also an opportunity to take part in a 1-hour workshop on 16 June to directly influence the design of a future study on the topic of health choices after a transplant, where you would reimbursed for your time.

That's fantastic news. I've completed the online section but I think more guidance and support is needed from government for health care settings to roll out the in person part.
