To me the moral of this novel is that none of us can be our best selves under the patriarchy.
The patriarchal system in which Joan has to operate encourages her to enable her husband's narcissim and to view other women through the lens of internalised misogyny #booksky

I loved this album. Such a joyful ode to survival and healing. Stunning lyrics and vocals and an amazing all-female backing band. For me, the standout tracks were Springtime,Demons,

A winemaker with a compelling backstory is always an exciting discovery. This is certainly true of British-born, Australian-based Michael Hall.
He spent two decades as a jewellery valuer for Sothebys in Switzerland before moving to Australia to study wine science at Charles Sturt University and

I just inhaled this gripping edge of your seat thriller. Admittedly, the plot does stretch credibility at times. Nonetheless, a great cast and a series of unexpected twists and turns make this an extremely engaging watch 🖥 #tv

#booksky 📚🎧 A compelling, well-researched, written and narrated deep-dive into the story of Belle Gibson. I think I was actually most intrigued by the stories around the story. Such as her betrayal of real cancer sufferers and the impact it had on them; the history of the rise of the wellness

I recently got around to watching Dead to Me on Netflix. I liked the focus on the friendship between two complicated and flawed women.

I just finished Season 3 of Fisk on ABC Iview. One of my favourite things about this series is the guest cast, which this season includes Justine Clarke, Claudia Karvan, Brett Climo, Rhys Nicholson and Tom Ballard. I think my favourite was Gabrielle Chan as George's Grandmother Lily 😍 #TV #AussieTV

I just watched the first episode of Yellowstone. I liked that it is centered on a complex conflict with multiple stakeholders. I also found the characters compelling if unlikeable. And I loved the cinematography.
