Creepshow Animated Special
Forgot the speculation came out before season 2. The two segment in the animated ones were incredible. One based on a short story by Stephen King, the other a short story by Joe Hill.

His new book King Sorrow is incredible.

Season 2- Episode 2
Segment 2- Public Television Of The Dead
This such a love letter to Sam Raimi. A very fun follow up to the emotional first segment.

Season 2- Episode 1
Segment 1- Model Kid
This is such a wonderful segment. Starting with the old b/w film style with title cards and all! Then leading into the main story. It just fits the vibe so well of what makes Creepshow so special. This segment is very special.

Season 1- Episode 6
Segment 2- By The Silver Water Of Lake Champlain
Season one starts with a segment based on a short story by Stephen King. It ends with one based on a short story by Joe Hill. Its a beautiful episode, and one that just shows how adaptable Hill as a writer is.

Season 1- Episode 6
Segment 1- Skincrawlers
This is such a good opening segment of the last episode of season 1. I know Romero would have loved this one. The horror isn't in the gore, its in the people.

Season 1- Episode 5
Segment 2- Times Is Tough In Musky Holler.
This one reminds me of King's Desperation. Its a really intense episode and one that stars David Arquette. Very intense, and not one of my favorite segments.

Season 1- Episode 5
Segment 1- Night Of The Paw
This one just feels like its right of Creepshow the film. I feels like its going to be a very trope filled segment, but it continues to subvert them. This is Creepshow at its best. Top ten segment for sure.

Season 1- Episode 4
Segment 2- Lydia Lane's Better Half
I truly didn't remember this one. It starts out with extremely well written tense drama. It just escalates from there. A truly wonderful segment. Beautifully acted and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Season 1- Episode 4
Segment 1- Companion
I Companion has such great sound design overall. The flashback story is one of the strongest in all of season one. The other story of Harold running from his abusive brother doesn't work as well, but its a great way to get to the heart.

Season 1- Episode 3
Segment 2- The Man In The Suitcase
A weaker segment than the first one, not awful but just doesn’t work as well being the companion of All Hallow's Eve. It landed a bit better than when I first saw it. Still one of the weaker entries of the first season/series.

Season 1- Episode 3
Segment 1- All Hallow's Eve
One of my favorites when it first aired. Brilliant script, and a wonderful twist. I really love The Golden Dragons, they feel like they are right out of King story- really strong entry and a perfect thing to watch on Halloween.

Segment 2: The Finger
DJ Qualls plays Clark Wilson a man who walks around LA and finds found objects. He narrates the tale of him finding a finger. Where weird stuff keeps happening.
My first watch upon release was less than favorable, but its Brilliantly acted.

Segment 1: Bad Wolf Down
Rob Schrab wrote and directed this one. A story about American Soldiers in WW2, and a werewolf. The villains are human, its a fun episode starring Kid Cudi, and while I don't revisit it often, it reallt landed on this rewatch.

Segment 2: The House Of The Head
Long time Romero cohort John Harrison directs this one. This might be my favorite Segment in the whole series.
Everything works, and it shows how much this type of short story/comic style telling works wonders. This was the moment I was all in.

Segment 1: Gray Matter
The movie Creepshow was a collaboration between my two heroes. Stephen King and George Romero.
Gray Matter is based on a short story by King and is the perfect entry into the series. This was an incredible first segment. I often revisit this one.
