That's also why so many celebrity photos on Wikipedia are of them talking on a panel at Comic-Con. There's just one guy who goes to Comic-Con every year, takes their pictures and uploads them to Wikipedia

Yeah, it turns out lots of celebrity photos are bad because all the photos of them are copyrighted and can't be used on Wikipedia www.bbc.com/news/article...
The amateur photographers fixing Wikipedia's 'terrible' pictures
The site is littered with awful photos, particularly of celebrities - but a volunteer project is trying to fix that.

Very cool, but how come some of them don't add up to 100%? Is there a category of batted balls that are maybe Blasts or unknown or something?

/5 Put another way, this is on Americans, not just the people who lead them. A truly “freedom-loving” people would not endure this and would not have developed a political culture so encrusted with servile deference to authority that permits it. A free people would find it revolting.

Old schoolers and advanced stats people are both aware of the ability of a hit to drive in a runner in scoring position. Advanced stats like wOBA attempt to account for the difference and I think they do a good job. You don't, and that's fine, there's room for disagreement on the details.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so combative. For what it's worth, the point I was trying to make was that I don't think you and I (or any other pseudo-intellectuals lol) actually disagree about how the game works. At least not in any fundamental sense.

I'm also waiting for someone to show up and tell me that their little league coach used to say that a walk is as good a hit all the time
