It's great watching their brains break over this. It's almost as if it's mentally less exhausting to operate on principles and values rather than pandering, hatred, and megalomania.

Originally was going to go with Debian 13 + Cinnamon DE, but figured I'd prefer the tighter integration with Cinnamon that LMDE brings, plus several other features that make it really great for a desktop. It's still Debian under the hood, which is exactly what I want.

It's like indiana jones but the treasure is frustration.

I'm assuming it has something to do with LibreWolf. It breaks so many things and it's tough to keep track of them. In any case, it's a feature called Delivery Optimization that sends parts of Windows Updates to other PCs on your network (and potentially the internet...). Opt-out by default.
