Us, too. Premium for our current plan went up $1,000 a month. And checking the marketplace, most other companies are no longer available for ACA and have become employer-based only. So we are stuck between two companies costing much more that still make you pay a ton for care on top of the premium.

Last Thursday I witnessed two guys beating each other up in the CVS on the corner of 14th and 8th. They left a wake of destruction behind them as they finally got their fight out to the sidewalk. It was pretty alarming.

Surprised she didn’t pitch an interview with Julie Andrews, who was married to Blake Edwards who directed The Pink Panther.

This is great! Also did I hear correctly a character mention someone getting eaten by a machine or press, like in The Mangler?

Loved Pushing Daisies! Two that quickly come to mind for me are Rubicon and Mad Dogs.

I think so. We need absurdist comedy now more than ever. Look back at the state of the country leading into the rise of the Zucker bros movies in the ‘70s. People were stressed AF, like today.

Same with my dad. And from Poirot he showed me The Lady Vanishes, which began my love for Hitchcock. And around the same time Twin Peaks was airing and we watched that together. Very fond memories.

I loved roaming free throughout the neighborhood and town as a kid. I wish my kids could do that now, but sadly it’s a different world.

1) It’s not rare to find a movie worth watching twice.
