There was a soapy situation at a downtown Hamilton park Monday morning as the Gore Park fountain overflowed with bubbles.
Like a dish-washing exercise gone wrong, suds spilled over the fountain's shallow concrete basin and onto the ground nearby.

A man is presumed dead after falling into the Niagara River whirlpool last weekend and regional police have suspended their formal search — although friends and family are working to encourage them to keep looking for the 25-year-old.

A Hamilton man is relieved that his parents are safe in Canada after fleeing Gaza.
However, he said, the family can't rest easy. His sister, her partner and their five children are still in Gaza, waiting to learn if they can get approval to join the others.

Police charged a #HamOnt woman, 39, with careless driving after they say she ran over a cyclist while turning into a downtown parking lot on Monday morning. The cyclist broke her pelvis and required surgery.

Since 2021, Jones' team has released over 21,000 caterpillars and larvae at around 30 locations across Ontario. Hamilton photographer Jessie Golem was a basic income recipient as part of the program the Ford government cancelled in 2018. Now, she's part of a class action taking the province to court for damages. She says Ontario should fight poverty, not the lawsuit.
